Résumé :
The article discusses the management of the U.S.-led war in Iraq by President George W. Bush and expresses the author's opinion that the U.S. is still in the war because of Bush's self-justification. The idea of cognitive dissonance is discussed, and the book "Mistakes Were Made (But Not by Me)" by Elliot Aronson and Carol Tavris is referred to. The acceptance of blame by former U.S. President John F. Kennedy for the botched Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba is discussed.
